Return policy and purchase guarantee
Our return policy, in compliance with current regulations, is to grant you the right to return a model purchased through our virtual store within a maximum period of 14 days, counting from the date of delivery of the product. In this case the shipping and collection costs will be paid by the customer. Within a maximum period of 3 days from receipt of the return, Escala18 undertakes to refund it. The client must contact our sales department within the indicated period by email (email@example.com) or telephone (94 631 97 11 / 669 77 37 23) where they will be informed how to proceed in the return process.
Any return without this prior communication will not be accepted. In order to accept the return, both the product and its packaging must be in perfect condition, without scratches, bumps, or broken or damaged packaging, including all the documentation that accompanies the product as well as its accessories. The customer must carry out a correct packaging that ensures its transport without damage. If the received model presents any type of damage due to inadequate packaging, Escala-18 will reject the return. Once received and verified by our staff that the product is in the same state in which it was sent, the amount will be refunded in accordance with what was previously agreed with the client.
Purchase guarantee, manufacturing defects and breakages.
All the products offered in our virtual store are guaranteed against breakage or damage that occurred during the transport process or with obvious manufacturing defects and, where appropriate, by that granted by each manufacturer or by current legislation. We put special effort into ensuring that our products have the support of recognized manufacturers and a high level of quality, as well as a careful packaging process.
Escala-18 will only accept claims for manufacturing defects in the following 72 hours after the date of receipt of the product, after these 72 hours no claims will be accepted.
The guarantee becomes effective through the return of the amount paid or the replacement of the model with a completely new one. The latter will only be possible depending on the availability of units at any time or the type of defect that the model presents.
Escala18 does not guarantee in all cases the exchange of the model for another equal or with similar characteristics, but it always guarantees the return of the amount of the same.
All shipments include full insurance in case of breakage.
- Breakage and damage in shipments to Spain and Portugal:
Escala-18 will only accept claims for damages and breakages within 24 hours after the date of receipt of the shipment, as required by our insurance provider (Nacex). After 24 hours the claim will not be accepted
- Breakage and damage in shipments outside Spain and Portugal:
Escala-18 will only accept claims for damages and breakages within 48 hours after the date of receipt of the shipment, as required by our insurance provider (UPS). After 48 hours the claim will not be accepted.
Escala18 reserves the right to process orders made through its website. Having placed an order does not imply any obligation on the part of Escala18 to accept it, in part or in its entirety. Depending on the customer's history, Escala18 can cancel the customer's account and the order placed unilaterally.
The prices indicated are valid except for errors or omissions and do not imply a contractual obligation on the part of Escala18. In the event that there is an upward price variation, derived from an error, the client will be notified before placing the order so that he can approve it.
The photographs of the models shown on our website as well as the information shown in the file of each article are merely informative and do not imply a contractual obligation on the part of Escala18. If you detect any error, please notify us so that we can correct it.
